Back again with another That’s Fresh! Friday
This week it’s all about a trend that originated from India–the Bindis. Bindis are worn by Indian women for centuries as part of their Hinduism culture. A bindi, meaning ” a drop” is a forehead decoration worn in the center close to your eyebrows. This area is said to be the sixth chakra ajna, the seat of ‘concealed wisdom’.
While this orginated in the Hinduism culture, bindis has made it way to the fashion world as the next big trend.
So what do you think? Would you rock them? While I think they are different and beautiful, I think I would have a hard time rocking this trend— My little M’s hands would be picking at my face all day. But if you count Dora stickers as Bindis, I think I’ve rocked this trend many of times.
Find bejeweled Bindis here, here & while they call them ‘Face Gems’, you can get them from here as well.
