Love Thy Self

HELLO peeps!

It’s me– ya know– Chene– the editor of this blog?

Yea I know it’s been For EVER but when life say’s ‘take a break’ — you take one.

These last months have been some of the hardest months of my life (thus far) and I just lost the drive to come to you guys and pretend I was happy when my life was falling apart all around me——-sorry I don’t blog about drama or sad stuff——-

So I did what I know to do in these situations and took a step back and gather my thoughts and took some much needed time with the big man up upstairs and the fam.

Now I’m done– no more wet pillows and snotty noses– I let it go and started thinking the opposite and think about all the things that are good in my life and all the things I love about myself.

Have you ever sat down and thought about all the things that you loved about yourself?

You should. It’s REFRESHING!

Here’s my list– it started with just three but I couldn’t stop– it’s funny once I actually put them in writing– I actually felt a little smile come across my face– it does that to you.

So what about you? Have you thought about all the things that you love about yourself?

Sit down– grab a pen and think about it. It’s a great feeling once you’re done!

SN: Thanks for still kicking it with me– I know I’ve been gone for 2 months but I’m back!

SN #2: If you didn’t know I started a blog community– go check it out (SGBC)

I think that’s a good exercise to do when you’re going through things. It’s a great idea! Sometimes I think of all of my positive qualities when I’m feeling like I’ve failed at something or what I do isn’t good enough. Putting things into perspective is one of the best things I can do to keep myself moving in a positive direction. Everyone has their down times but it’s just as easy to pick yourself up once you give yourself some credit.

It really worked for me– I think it’s ok to be a little selfish sometimes :) Glad you liked!

“I love that I love fitness but only workout when I think I’m getting too fat” – I love THIS. Oh, and if God brings you to it, he will bring you through it!
